The 2012 Internship Program includes the following:
- Live Show Production
- Marketing/Promotions
- Community-oriented projects and organizing
- Other entertainment-related projects.
The major focus will be placed on the planning and production of the upcoming 1st Annual NNRS show in Abuja. We will also be working with different companies to help with marketing and event planning.
NNRS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting positive and accurate perceptions of Nigerian's in the media.
About the Internship:
The NNRS Internship Program is offered in our various office locations. Interns will play an essential role, performing a variety of responsibilities such as (but not limited to) helping put together the 1st Annual NNRS show:
- marketing
- research
- outreach
- on-stage setups
- backstage set-ups
- acting as community/artist liaisons.
There will be opportunities to participate in valuable grassroots organizing activities, working directly with NNRS Mentors from various industries, networking with other leaders at a nationwide-level, and to meet key Nigerian community and industry leaders.
Interns are expected to commit to a minimum of 8 hours per week (it may include some nights and weekends).
Qualifications/ Application Process:
We strongly encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply. We believe in the success of our organization to be in the diversity of our audiences, performers, interns, volunteers, and staff. The minimum age requirement for our internship program is 18. Due to safety and convenience, we prefer to have applicants reside in local locations and have access to their own transportation.
